Which AI assistants work with the SEO MCP?

Any MCP-compatible AI assistant works — including Claude (via Claude Desktop or Claude Code), Cursor, and any tool that supports the Model Context Protocol. The SEO MCP uses standard MCP JSON-RPC over SSE, so it integrates with any client that follows the spec. ChatGPT plugin support and direct API access are also available.

How are SEO credits used?

Each MCP tool call deducts a small number of credits based on the data volume requested — bulk SERP queries cost more than single keyword lookups. The Free plan includes enough credits to test all 89 tools. Paid plans ($39–$399/mo) include a monthly credit allocation that refreshes automatically. Credits can also be topped up individually without upgrading your plan.

Is my data kept private?

Yes. The SEO MCP server does not store your AI conversation context or the queries you run. Usage is logged only for billing purposes (tool name, credit cost, timestamp). No query content, keyword data, or competitor research is retained after your session. Your OAuth token is stored encrypted and scoped only to SEO MCP access — it cannot reach your Done For You Hub dashboard or account data.
